- Sports Bursaries; Financial support, free accessto the University and local sports facilities, mentoring and sports science support for students competing at national or international standard.
- Mathematics Bursaries; £500 award for students who firmly accept an offer of a place on a Mathematics degree and who achieve at least 320 points at A level (including Maths)
- Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) NHS Bursaries; If you enrol for the four-year Biomedical Sciences sandwich course you are entitled to financial help from the NHS.
- Vera Carmen Lord Fund; This fund is available for students who have resided in (or are connected with) the Worthing area. You may also be eligible for this fund if you were born in Jamaica (or are a national of Jamaica).
- University of Essex Foundation Bursary for Refugees and the Children of Refugees; The award is open to undergraduate students in exceptional financial difficulties who have refugee status, or are the child of a refugee.
- The Marie Helen Luen Charitable Trust Fund; This fund is open to UK undergraduate students experiencing financial difficulty.
